We’re not a mass-producing jewelry retailer, but a host of jewelry specialists, experienced goldsmiths, and certified gemologists, passionate in their diamond expertise. It’s a long way from the wind-swept plains of North Dakota and the hometown of our founder, Keith Shelley to the mountains of North Carolina. Over 60 years ago, Keith came home from World War II to open a watch repair store in the small town near his birthplace. Years later, as a certified gemologist and diamond expert in his own right, he established Shelley’s Jewelry to the mountains of North Carolina. Our owner/president, Stan Shelley, is continuing the second generation of Shelley’s fine traditions.
